You can request deletion of personal data associated with your use of B86 Solutions apps (including Cinema Box) and our website. This page explains how.
1. Delete data in the app
For local data stored on your device:
- Open your device Settings
- Go to Apps → Cinema Box
- Tap Storage → Clear data (or uninstall the app)
This removes watchlists, preferences, and other data stored locally on your device.
2. Sign out of linked accounts
If you signed in with TMDb, sign out in the app and revoke access in your TMDb account settings if you no longer want the app to access your TMDb data.
3. Request server-side deletion
To delete data we may hold on our servers (analytics identifiers, cloud sync data, support correspondence, etc.), email us at:
Include:
- App name (e.g., Cinema Box)
- Your email address associated with the app or support requests
- Device type and approximate date you started using the app (optional, helps us locate data)
- A clear statement that you want your data deleted
We will verify your request and respond within 30 days (or as required by applicable law).
4. What we delete
Upon a valid request, we delete or anonymize personal data we control, except where retention is required by law (e.g., fraud prevention, legal claims, or tax records).
5. Third-party data
Data held by third parties (Google, Firebase, TMDb, ad networks, etc.) may require separate requests to those providers. See our Privacy Policy for links to their policies.
